Sherpa Chai’s recipes come from our founder, Pemba Sherpa. Our chai is based on the recipe Pemba’s mother made for him every day growing up in Nepal.
The Sherpa people are of Tibetan ancestry and have lived in the Himalayan region of Nepal for hundreds of years. Sherpas are known fro their support of foreign mountaineers trekking in Nepal.

Sherpa Chai is small batch brewed by Sherpas from Nepal here in Colorado. Sherpa Chai uses all-natural, organic, vegan, and non-GMO ingredients. Our black tea is from Nepal, and we fresh press our Ginger and Turmeric at the brewery.
Sherpa Chai is a 1:1 concentrate. Traditionally served one-part chai concentrate to one-part milk or milk substitute. Enjoy hot, or cold with ice.
Sherpa Chai contains a small amount of caffeine, one-third or less than a typical cup of coffee. We also brew a delicious Decaf Chai based on the Traditional Chai recipe.
Yes! Our DECAF is the based on the same recipe as our Traditional and has the same great taste without the caffeine.
Yes! Sherpa Chai has two unsweetened flavors. We do not add any artificial sweeteners. Try our Unsweetened Traditional chai and Unsweetened Turmeric Ginger concentrate and enjoy these extra healthy versions of our classic flavors.
Yes, Sherpa Chai uses all-natural, organic, vegan, and non-GMO ingredients. Our ingredients like our Nepali black tea, fresh-pressed ginger, black pepper, turmeric, are known for their anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-nausea, gut-health promotion, immune system support, and more.
Sherpa Chai’s black tea comes from our partners in Nepal. All our other ingredients come from all-natural, vegan, non-GMO, and organic certified suppliers. (Note, honey is not vegan, hence our Honey Vanilla flavor is by nature not vegan.)
Sherpa Chai is shelf stable for one year. After opening, refrigerate and consume within 30 days.
